Electric Vehicle (EV) Program
Fraser Health and Provincial Health Services Authority have electric vehicle charging stations available at most sites. Employee use of level 2 charging stations are free of charge. The use of DC Fast Chargers (level 3) are not free and will incur a charging fee when used to charge your vehicle (Please review posted signage for rates and information) . Parking, however, is NOT free. Contact Parking Administration if you require a parking pass. The designated clearly marked EV charging stalls are exclusively reserved for electric vehicles and are regularly patrolled. Please observe restrictions at all times to avoid a parking violation ticket.
How To Use The Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
- Park electric vehicle in the reserved electric vehicle charging station stall
- Connect charger to your vehicle
- Scan the QR code on the charger screen
- Enter the requested information and touch the START CHARGE button
- Unplug vehicle to stop charging when complete and/or when charging time limit of 3 hours is reached (for Level 2) or 1 hour has elapsed (for Level 3).
- Relocate your vehicle to a regular parking stall
Electric Vehicle Etiquette
Actively charging vehicles only
- Do not use electric vehicle charging station if you are unable to relocate your electric vehicle once charge is complete and/or the posted time limit has expired.
- Store the cord once you are finished
- Do not unplug others
